Complaint Good2go insurance aka Omni insurance, steadily increased my rates, charged me for odd fees, poor customer service. So we switched to another company.
They said they would cancel it effective that day. Nothing else was said to us. Few weeks later we received a bill for an entire month. Company claims we had them for 3 days of coverage before we switched, they tacked on a late fee and now want the entire amount for a month. Ridiculous end to a nightmare company.
But not for an entire month plus late fees and admin costs. This correspondence is in response to the additional inquiry filed by the named insured. Please be aware that we provided a discount to Mr. ****** for having previous insurance prior to his poilcy with Good2Go Auto Insurance. This discount is reflected on the declarations page.****** submitted from his previous carrier showed that his policy with Titan Insurance expired on 06/27/2015 but his policy with Good2Go was not effective until 07/06/2015. Because of this 10 day lapse in coverage, his discount was reduced. Mr. ****** indicates that he had the policy for only 3 days in August; however our records indicate that he did not request to cancel this policy until 08/28/2015. He contacted our office on 08/28/2015 at 5:32 PM to cancel the policy.
****** can provide proof that he has incurance with another carrier prior to the 08/28/2015, we will gladly adjust the cancellation date to reconfigure the new balance owed. Please be aware Mr. ****** has filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department of Insurance. We have responded to that complaint with a detailed account of policy documents and policy information. We are committed to amicably resolving this matter with Mr. ******. Once Mr. ****** has provided proof of a new insurance carrier in the month of August, we will gladly review to bring this matter to resolution. Went with nationwide end of August. So what is this bill of 90 some dollars for? Had you for 2 months, paid for 2 months. Unaware of any discount provided y this company. Have asked several times for review of the recorded transaction upon signing up, that took place with agent.
The agent in October said the bill is for the last 3 days in August. Again disputing BILL AFTER dropping this company! Very dissatisfied.
